about
Ok....Let me just explain what this song is about. ‘The Park’ is about a time in my life where me and a group of friends ate some oddly tasting mushrooms in a park and “Enjoyed the Park”. The day was full of laughter, happiness, togetherness and peace. Yes this was a good day. A day that is lodged so deep in my memory it feels like yesterday. Looking back on it though, I felt like it wasn’t just about enjoying the park, it was about enjoying being here and existing. I had found clarity on what life means to me and how I want to live it. So, I present this instrumental/song to you with immense pride as I feel I have a piece of music that fully represents what happened to me on that beautiful day in Amsterdam. In these uncertain and cruel times I hope that we can emerge from this and somehow find this place I sing of. Oh what a life we’ll spend :)
lyrics
Take me to the park and let me live again
Let me breathe again
Let me love again
Take me to a place where we can grow again
We'll be at peace again
Oh what a life we'll spend
Take e to the park where I can rest my head
Nothing but happiness
We'll savour every breath
Take me to a place with beauty night and day
Embrace the moment
Oh what a life we'll spend
